In honor of his epic compilation for Axtone Records, Thomas Gold has performed a set live (with a camera over his shoulder so we can see what he’s doing) at the Beatport office in Berlin.
This is a pretty awesome video. Its always fun watching a top-level DJ do a live performance, because you can pick up techniques and see that (unlike Steve Angello) he is actually mixing his stuff. Just to clarify, we never believed Gold had prerecorded his sets. Its also nice to hear how he mixed all of the new tracks from the compilation together.
